Many plants in the upper canyon are beginning to transition into their next phase and we are seeing many catkins in bloom! To avoid a catastrophe like LA experienced (and our neighborhood experienced in the 1991 fire), we need to stay vigilant about our risks and know what we can do to lessen them.
