Around 11:12a.m. the bay area was surprised by a 3.4 magnitude earthquake with an epicenter 9.4 kilometers deep near Garber Park (according to SF Gate). This earthquake occurred during Gaber Park's volunteer day—as volunteers were busy fixing trails, removing invasive plants, and clearing eucalyptus debris. The interesting part was that people in the surrounding areas felt the earthquake but none of the volunteers did!
